Chris Grice
Managing Director & Lead Facilitator

Chris has a head for business and a passion for nature.
Having run businesses in the past, his skill in strategy makes sure that our projects run smoothly.
It’s not all work and no play. Chris loves nothing more than being in the woods and relearning the skills of our ancestors.
as well as sharing his skills with the group
Chris is a keen Bushcraft and ancestral skills enthusiast, as well as being trained in mental health intervention and currently training to be a registered Psychotherapist.
Chris has a down-to-earth approach to mental health, nature connection and ‘ the old ways’, and set up Wilderness Tribe along with Tom back in 2021 with a passion for bringing the healing power of nature to normal everyday people.
Having been on (and still being on) his own journey as a man, father, and husband, Nature and the outdoors have become a great teacher and mirror to help him reflect.
As well as this, Chris is a great advocate of increasing quality in the outdoor industry, and his goal is to make being in nature just as normal for our health as taking an aspirin.

Anthony Moore
Coms and Outreach Officer & Support Facilitator

Ant loves the outdoors and comes from a career in supporting and organising projects for other organisations before joining the ranks
he has also been a long-time tribe member and volunteer
Anthony is our Outreach and Communications Officer at Wilderness Tribe as well as a support facilitator out in our woodland and other sites.
Anthony is currently training to become a Wilderness Therapeutic Practitioner which will enhance the team and give a further depth to his role within the tribe.
‘I joined Wilderness Tribe through the Everyman Tribe in Summer 2022, I was a shadow of the person I am now, I didn’t talk, I clearly remember sitting on the lane to our woodland thinking about whether I should go in or drive off, thankfully I chose to go in that day and my life changed forever.
I have learned skills both practical and mentally that I would never have engaged with before and being able to share those with my children has enabled a massive shift in my life’
As a proud Dad, he is passionate about the work we do with children and young people, especially our intervention work and building stronger family relationships. He also really values demonstrating that the outdoors is for everyone and enjoys sharing stories of his budget adventures with his three children. Anthony also has a focus on the language between men/dads and their children, making generational changes to raise a more open and resilient generation.
